This week I came up with 4 ideas and discussed them with Vida and Penny.

Idea 1: A story about the Chinese poet Li Bai 

• Adolescence: Li Bai studied Taoism in the deep mountain together with his best friend Zi Yang. He read and memorized all the famous poems and articles through the history and laid foundation for his magnificent art style for the whole life. When he was 22, he left Sichuan with the dream of becoming a famous and wealth officer of the government and never came back 
• Middle Age: Li Bai finally successfully admitted by the emperor as an officer serving in the palace. But then he found that he is just there to amuse the emperor and the princess, rather than helping govern the country. At the same time, he witnessed the corruption and the intrigues with the bureaucrat. Within one year, he resigned from his dream government officer. 
• Late Age: Li Bai witnessed the miserable life of normal people during the period of An Lushan Rebellion, he empathized to the people a lot, at the same time had a deeper understanding that how serious the problem of corruption of the government is. He becomes more distrust on the politics and more enthusiastic in practicing Taoism 

Idea 2: An imaginary spiritual interaction with Li Bai 

story: I become the closest friend in adolescence of Li Bai, studying Taoism together in the deep mountain together with him. We keep a group of rare and beautiful birds, they are so attached to us that they are dare to eat on our hand just with a call. I and Li Bai used to drink under the moon, we listen to the music of Guqin played by monks, we read all those famous gorgeous articles in the history, we even go to the downtown’s most famous Geisha house to enjoy our life. But one day, Li Bai says that he is leaving for pursuing fame and wealth. He never goes back since then. 

Idea 2(2): Visualize the Poem of Li Bai 

两人对酌山花开，一杯一杯复一杯。 

我醉欲眠君且去，明朝有意抱琴来 

Idea 3: A story about the love missed 

Two people are drinking under the moon, while flowers blooming, bringing pleasant fragrance. One of two says that he is too drunk, letting one just go home and return tomorrow with her guqin. But when the other one come back the next day, she finds that the man is leaving. But when she steps out to keep the man, she suddenly falls into another universe.  

1Little prince: The woman becomes the fox, who is saying bye to the little prince. 

Idea 4: A girl and a tiger  

A confusing girl came across with a tiger in a deep, dark jungle  

After greeting, they said goodbye to each other  

But the girl continued following the tiger, curious about its life  

The tiger was aware of that clearly, after some walk, it turned back, and hugged the girl  

The two became intimating, developing deep attachment to each other, 

The lonely tiger, for a long time, felt the happiness of being deeply loved and worshiped by the girl, 

The uptight girl, for the first time, became no more aggressive under the overwhelming love and protection from the tiger, 

But one day, the tiger heard a call from the sea, reminding him that he has a destination to go, 

He sad farewell to the girl gently, telling that she also has her own way to go  

The girl, desperately, asked whether they will meet again, 

The tiger, disappeared in the deep jungle, answering, maybe yes, maybe not… 

The girl, numbed in the ground with tear dripping on the grass,  

When sun rise, sunshine fail across the brunches of the jungle, she stranded up, also left.
